Chantings & Mantras Explained ✳︎
Episode 1
Chinnabanchorn Verse 1 – 5
-
Chinnabanchorn is one of Thailand’s most well-known protective chants. Traditionally associated with the legendary Thai monk Somdej To, it consists of 15 Pali verses traditionally chanted for protection.
At Bangkok Ceremony, we also explore the chant as an energetic map for the mind and body. Through repetition, breath, vocal vibration, and focused attention, chanting becomes more than words — it becomes an embodied practice.
The first five verses begin this journey by bringing awareness from the crown of the head into different areas of the body, creating a symbolic structure of clarity, perception, compassion, and protection.
